Motivated

I added a link to my profile page at FictionPress.com.
I posted a few of my freewrite work there a long time ago. (You'll see something mentioned in my profile about "time").
I just logged onto my profile for the first time in a long time and I noticed a few speling errors in my work already! Sheesh...
Anyways, I feel the bubblingsforth of some creativity and I hope to get an actual story chapter posted there soon. I'm writing a basic outline of the story right now, just so I know what kind of approach I want to take. I'll let you know when I post the first ch.

Thanks for looking. ;)

Sunrise, sunset...sunrise, sunset...

Apologies for not updating in a while. End of the year craziness, y'know?

Quick Updates (because I am currently "working"):

  • Finished my fist sign language semester. Aced my finals. *phew!* Finished with 103% grade.
  • Doesn't look like I'll be getting any snowboading in for this year. =(
  • But there's always January. =)
  • Since I turned 23 I feel more confident but also more anxiety. (go figure...)
  • Been working my behind off at work. Holidays season + gift giving = crunch time for me.
  • My "new" cel phone isn't working, (there is no sound, and no, I do not have the volume turned off. =P) So I get to go have it fixed or replaced...arrrrg
  • Had to cancel a trip to San Diego darnit.
  • Thouroughly enjoying the rain. It is so calming and romantic... I wish it would rain more.
  • I need a haircut.
  • I've been longing for a cuddly animal of somesort, a puppy to be precise, but I don't think my landlord would appreciate it very much. So I'm looking into smaller cuddlies at the moment. Hamsters are currently on sale at Petco...
  • Cancelled my MxO subscription...there's just no time! =(
  • Took my car to the auto shop. They charged 50 bucks for a diagnosis, attempted to "fix" the problem, only to have it fail 1 hour later.
  • I take a look at the problem myself ... and fix it in five minutes.
  • House sat an amazing home on the waterfront for three glorious days. A house. To myself. Here's a pic of one of the many beautiful sunsets. You'll have to pardon the low quality, I took it with my camera phone...but it was gorgeous. The sky was on fire and the water was purple.

And thats about it, well, thats about as much as I can remember right now. lol
Have a great week everyone. =)

Quick! Take a picture!

Yes. Yes. I cleaned my room today. (Please. Hold your applause.) I thought it might be a nice treat to myself, starting out the 23rd year of my life with a clean room. Otherwise, I might get really depressed. =P My sister says "the condition of the inside of your room is the condition of the inside of your head" .... I say "pfffft, whateva, I just like seeing the actual carpet." ;)

My weekend was great. My dad came up to visit me for a few days. I went on another fantastic wine tour. Did some shopping....Got some amazing new black leather boots, and they were 50% off! Yep. Great weekend.

I also saw Aeon Flux. I heard its based on a comic book or something... But anyways, its a great movie. I love Aeons hair. The story was cool. And I loved all the futuristic possibilites. Very inventive. I do have a couple complaints. Don't worry, the good definitley outweighs the bad, but for some reason I'd rather type what bothered me more than elaborate its coolness. =/

1st: The action sequences were great but there were way too many choppy close ups, sometimes I didn't know what the heck was going on, which might be what the director wanted me to feel, but, it just bugged me.

2nd: This movie should be called "The Invincible Mr. Goodchild." My god, the man gets shot at least 5 times in two different scenes of the movie, and after a few grunts and looks of despair, he magically heals to normal condition. "Dang, I got shot again. Lets do some yoga...."

3rd: Aeons fight sequences could have been fantastic...if only there was some good music to go along with them. I remember little or no energy to the music played during those scenes. I guess I'm spoiled from The Matrix, Star Wars, Tomb Raider, Resident Evil...you know, music that gets your blood flowing and gets you excited about what you're seeing. Its like watching really cool psycadellic images...except theres no color. You just get the "ooooooh-huh?...Oh." feeling. =(

Other than that, great movie...I will definitely see it again. =)

So many things happening on Wed...
Last day of school =)
Finals =O
I turn 23 >=}
